Great news! Li Ziqi has returned. She just posted her first video after more than 3 years of inactivity.
Actually she posted three videos on the same day.
As we reported before, she was having a legal battle with her agent and management company in China. Liziqi barely said anything during this time, probably at the request of her own lawyer. We still don’t know what the outcome is, but given that she’s finally started to post new content again, maybe the lawsuit has concluded.
Li Ziqi named the video “For everyone who knows my name…” as a tribute to her fans who’ve been waiting patiently throughout this ordeal. It’s about making silk using a traditional process that’s at risk of being lost forever, because fewer and fewer people have the need to learn these labor-intensive skills. The final product – a beautiful dress – is stunning.
In the video Li Ziqi also played piano and sang a popular song “As You Wished” by Faye Wong.
