2020 First Video from Li Ziqi – BBQ, Chinese Flat Bread, and Singing Solo

Li Ziqi uploaded a new video on December 31, 2019. But in China, it’s already New Year’s Day, so she’s posting it as the first video of 2020. As always, it’s beautifully done. She made barbecue on a frying pan, as well as Chinese flat bread – the palm sized bread with stuffing inside and sesame seeds on top.

But the highlight is that in the end, she sang a solo while playing guitar. She did the same song in another video before, but only a portion of it. This time she finished the entire song in the bitter cold winter of Sichuan. Pretty touching.

This is a song that probably matches her life experience quite well. If you read her story, including losing her parents at a young age and pursuing a failed dream in the city, you’ll understand why she likes this song so much.
